Terms of Service

By accessing or using buildr at getbuildr.app (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

buildr is an AI-powered web application builder that allows users to generate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code using natural language descriptions. The Service is powered by Anthropic’s Claude API.

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that generated code is correct, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getbuildr.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Free plan: 10 AI generations per account. No payment required.

Pro plan ($19/mo): Unlimited generations. Billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime.

Team plan ($49/mo): Everything in Pro for up to 5 members. Billed monthly.

Pay-as-you-go credits: One-time purchases. Credits never expire and are non-refundable once used.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. To cancel, contact hello@getbuildr.app or manage your subscription in the app. Refunds are at our discretion.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate malicious code, malware, or content designed to harm others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
• Automate requests in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Code generated through the Service is provided to you for your own use. You own the output you create. We do not claim ownership of generated code. However, since many users may generate similar code from similar prompts, we cannot guarantee exclusivity.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of generated code complies with applicable licenses, laws, and third-party rights.

The buildr name, logo, website design, and all non-generated content are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED CODE WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Anthropic, Clerk, Stripe, and Supabase. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions or availability.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting hello@getbuildr.app. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the EU member state in which we are established.
